- They are usually colorful, old cars from the 1950s with a taxi sign in the window

- You can also hail a pedicabs/bicycle taxi. Simply flag one down, tell the driver where you want to go. Make sure to agree the price before getting in
- Havana has two bus operators – Viazul and Astro. You need to book your ticket well in advance and print out the reservation
- Gua Guas are metro buses that cover central and old Havana

- Wifi is difficult to get in Havana and down the streets, you’ll see crowds where people can get internet hotspots.
- The wifi isn’t free, so you need to buy a card from either your hotel or an ETECSA telecommunications centre. It costs $1.00 for one-hour internet access
